Geraldton War Memorial

Geraldton War Cemetery commemorates the brave people who served in World War Two.?The main entrance is a pergola of stone piers and overhead concrete beams situated in the Eastward Road. A Cross of Sacrifice stands faces the entrance from the southern end. The 83 burials comprise of 41 soldiers and 42 airmen, all of the Australian Forces and also, the grave of the unknown sailor from the HMAS?Sydney?which was sunk in World War Two.?
